Irene Ràfols is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development and innovation within the construction and architectural sectors. Currently, Irene serves as the Head of Product Innovation & Multiphysics Simulation Unit at Eurecat - Centro Tecnológico de Catalunya since May 2015, leading scientific strategy and research objectives. Previous roles include R&D Project Manager focused on product development at both Eurecat and ASCAMM Foundation, as well as a faculty member at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia. Irene began their career as an architect at A&M arquitectes, contributing to project rehabilitation and execution. Irene holds multiple degrees from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, including a Master's in Architecture and a Master's in Integrated Engineering and Production.
