Lucas Horan has worked in various scientific roles since 2003. Lucas began their career as a PhD Graduate Student at UC Santa Cruz, working as part of Prof. Harry Noller's group on two independent projects. In 2009, they started a Post-Doc at UC Berkeley, working with Prof. Don Rio's group and researching the RNA world hypothesis. In 2013, they returned to UC Berkeley as a Post-Doc, this time working on a CLEC2D ribozyme regulation project in the Immunology lab of Prof. In 2015, they began working as a Scientist at Eureka Therapeutics, Inc.
Lucas Horan completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas in 2003, and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2009.
