Giovanni Matranga

Giovanni Matranga is a seasoned professional in the field of European affairs, particularly focused on e-mobility and electricity markets. Currently serving as the Senior European Affairs Specialist at Enel Group since December 2021, Giovanni is responsible for monitoring EU policies, coordinating internal positions, and advocating on behalf of Enel to policymakers. Additionally, as the Vice Chair of the E-mobility Working Group at Eurelectric and a Board Member at the Platform for Electromobility, Giovanni fosters collaboration among stakeholders to promote electromobility. Prior to these roles, Giovanni held positions at MOTUS-E, Enel Green Power, and Enel, with a strong foundation in financial planning, control, and risk management acquired through extensive educational pursuits, including advanced degrees and specialized courses in energy regulation and electric vehicles.
