Benjamin Tan

Benjamin Tan has extensive work experience in the financial industry, starting in 2003 at Singapore Exchange Limited where they served as a Senior Associate - System Consultant/Project Manager. In this role, they managed the SGX-HP Trading System Operations Team and provided technical support for mission-critical trading systems and projects.

In 2007, Benjamin joined RTS Realtime Systems Pte Ltd as a Product Manager for Asia Pacific. Their responsibilities included providing functional and technical support to customers, acting as a counterpart to international exchanges for connectivity and release planning, and working with the Research and Development Team to identify strategic new product developments.

In 2009, Benjamin moved to Mizuho Securities Singapore Pte Ltd as an Assistant Vice President. During their tenure, they held various responsibilities related to their role.

In 2011, Benjamin joined Eurex Frankfurt AG Singapore Branch as a Technical Account Manager, VP, Business Development Asia & Middle East. Their role focused on business development in the Asia and Middle East regions.

Throughout their career, Benjamin has demonstrated strong technical and managerial skills, as well as a deep understanding of financial products and market dynamics.

Benjamin Tan pursued their education at Singapore Polytechnic from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Diploma in Electronics, Computer & Communication Engineering. Benjamin further advanced their studies at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from 1999 to 2002. During this time, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree with a 2nd Upper Honours in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
