Joaquín G. has a diverse range of work experience in the aerospace industry. Joaquín is currently the CEO of AeroSM, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Sales Spain for EURO-COMPOSITES S.A in 2019. From 2014 to present, they have served as the Director of Strategy & Business Development for UMI Aeronáutica. Joaquín also has experience as an Independent International Sales & Business Development Consultant through their company JGS Consultants, where they have supported international companies in expanding their market presence. Prior to this, they served as the Business Development Manager for Spain & Portugal at CADES Digitech Pvt. Ltd. from 2010 to 2013. Joaquín also held the position of Vice President of Sales & Business Development at Hispanoalemana de Servicios Aeronáuticos, SL from 2010 to 2012. In 2010, Joaquín took on the role of COO at Tecnicas Aeronauticas, Defensa y Automocion, S.A., where they oversaw operations for an aircraft parts manufacturer. Joaquín gained extensive experience in business development as the Senior Manager at PFW Aerospace GmbH from 1999 to 2009. Their career began in 1996 as the Director of Procurement at ESMETES SL. At Andalucia Aeroespacial SA, Joaquín served as the Director of Administration, Finance & Procurement from 1997 to 1999, where they successfully set up an international procurement department and achieved cost reductions.

Joaquín G. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Administracion de Empresas, Marketing from Universidad Nebrija, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. In 1998 to 1999, they pursued a postgraduate program in Program Management of High Technology Programs at ESIC Business & Marketing School. Additionally, Joaquín G. achieved a Diplom Betriebswirt degree in European Business Program from FH Münster, where they studied from 1989 to 1993.
