Erik Kovacs

Erik Kovacs is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in cyber defense and threat hunting. Currently serving as Cyber Defense Advisory - Team Lead at EURO ONE Számítástechnikai Zrt. since November 2021, Erik previously held roles as a Cyber Defense Consultant and Security Engineer at Euro One Zrt., where responsibilities included penetration testing, threat analysis, and educational initiatives for analysts. Erik's experience also encompasses network security administration at Lufthansa Systems, where firewall configurations and security device monitoring were key duties, as well as a network operator role at Deloitte Hungary involving system implementations and network support. An alumnus of Obuda University with a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management, Erik is certified as an Offensive Security Certified Professional and has furthered education through Pentesterlab and Pentester Academy.
