Stavros Ioannou

Stavros Ioannou is a Greek board member and deputy CEO of Eurobank. Stavros has also served as the group COO & International Activities at Eurobank. Stavros has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Ioannou started their career in 1988 as a manager for the centralized operations unit & organization and methods department at Barclays. Stavros then moved to Eurobank EFG in 1998 where they served as a manager for the organization & methods unit. In July 2014, they became the senior general manager for group COO & international activities at Eurobank. In this role, they were responsible for managing and overseeing the Group’s IT, Operations and Organization functions in Greece and abroad. Stavros also oversaw the Group’s subsidiaries in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine and Cyprus.
