Jonathan Moon

Jonathan Moon is the Group Financial Director at Eurobase International Limited. Jonathan has over 19 years of experience in finance and has held various senior management positions during their career.

Moon started their career at PayPoint plc in July 1996 as the UK and Ireland Finance Director. Jonathan was part of the UK and Ireland senior management team and led a team of 45+ covering corporate and operational finance, planning and strategy, retailer debt, procurement and facilities.

During their time at PayPoint, Moon drove double digit PBT growth for 4 years by delivering the strategic plan. Jonathan also minimised risks, reduced wastage and increased productivity whilst maintaining tight financial controls. Jonathan identified and implemented revenue generating opportunities and cost reductions.

PayPoint processed 600 million transactions per annum across a 28,500 strong retail network which also contained 4,000 ATMs, 10,000 Credit Debit processing sites and 1,000 Western Union sites in the UK and Ireland. Moon negotiated commercial deals with leading UK retailers and FTSE 100 companies.

Jonathan introduced dashboard reporting to our field team, retailers and clients to help provide better yield analysis and profitability. Jonathan also implemented numerous system and process improvement projects and organisational design.

Jonathan Moon began their educational career at Boswells Comprehensive before going on to study business and finance at Anglia Ruskin University.

Jonathan Moon reports to John Wilson, Chairman & Group CEO. They work with Matt Townsend - Head of Product, eCommerce, Platform & Innovation, Ryan Hallett - Chief Technology Officer, and Neil Chittenden - Head of Client Delivery.
