Philip Verheyen

Philip Verheyen has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Philip started their career in 1991 at BASF Antwerpen, where they worked in various maintenance management roles. Philip then became the Operations Manager for Nitric & Sulfuric Acid, followed by a role as Maintenance Manager for a fertilizer plant. In 2011, Verheyen joined BASF Antwerpen nv as a Product Manager for Nitric & Sulfuric Acid and Ammonia. In 2013, they became the Head of Operations (COO) at EuroChem Antwerpen NV.

Philip Verheyen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elektro-Mechanica from K.I.H.A (Hoboken) in the years 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at KU Leuven from 1987 to 1990.
