Martha Penna, MD has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries and roles. Martha started their career as a Medical Manager at Asta Médica in 1996. Later, they became a Group Project Manager at Hoffmann-La Roche from 1997 to 2000. Martha then joined Abbott Laboratories, where they held various positions, including Medical Director, Commercial Director, General Manager Puerto Rico, and General Manager Brazil from 2000 to 2009. In 2007, they also served as a Conselheiro at Interfarma - Brazilian Research-based Pharmaceutical Manufactures Association. From 2010 to 2012, they were the CEO at SIN Sistema de Implante - A Southern Cross Group Company. Martha Penna held a role as Vice President and Membro do Conselho Consultivo at Eurofarma in 2012, and later became a Membro do Conselho Consultivo at Orygen Biotecnologia in 2019. Additionally, they became an Investment Committee Member at Neuron Ventures in the same year.
Martha Penna, MD attended Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, where they studied medicine. Martha later pursued an MBA at the Business School Sao Paulo.
