Matthew Shipley

Matthew Shipley is an experienced Assay Validation Scientist currently employed at Eurofins Viracor since January 2023, where Matthew leads the design and execution of validation projects for various instruments and assays. Previously, Matthew held positions including Medical Laboratory Scientist at Saint Luke's Health System and Group Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist at Quest Diagnostics. Matthew's extensive background spans clinical chemistry, urinalysis, and esoteric coagulation studies, complemented by a Master's degree in Zoology and a Bachelor's in Marine Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. With a strong emphasis on quality control, documentation, and process improvement, Matthew has demonstrated proficiency in laboratory operations and regulatory compliance throughout a diverse career in medical technology and research.
