Manuel Aparicio Toro

Manuel Aparicio Toro is a Senior Backup and Compute Engineer at Eurofins since December 2021, specializing in the design and implementation of IT Infrastructure transformations across Europe’s Food and Environment testing businesses. With a focus on enterprise-level systems transition from legacy to modern solutions, Manuel proposes cost-effective, secure, and bandwidth-optimized strategies while collaborating with Network, Cloud, and Application teams. Prior to Eurofins, Manuel served as the Backup Department Head at Mediacloud, overseeing the protection of over 4000 virtual machines using various backup tools. Manuel began a technical consulting career at EID Seguridad de Contenidos, focusing on user support, backup systems implementation, network configuration, and team supervision. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and a Technical Degree in Application Development from IES la Ferreria.
