Programme Leader For Wildlife at Eurogroup for Animals

Nicholas Clark is a professional with significant experience in wildlife conservation and social economy advocacy. Currently serving as Programme Leader for Wildlife at Eurogroup for Animals since December 2021, Nicholas focuses on regulating the exotic pet trade, managing invasive species, reducing wildlife trafficking, enforcing the Zoos Directive, banning the use of wild animals in circuses and dolphinaria, and improving conservation efforts for protected species. Previously, from September 2020 to December 2021, Nicholas worked at Social Economy Europe as a Policy and Communications Officer, where efforts centered on mainstreaming social economy policies and Nicholas contributed to the development of a podcast titled "Social Economy Talks." Earlier, Nicholas held the position of Head of Secondary at ISCAT - The International School of Catalunya from January 2014 to August 2018.
