Martin Batista

Martin Batista is an experienced maritime professional with a background in nautical engineering and extensive experience in various maritime roles. Martin has served as Master Mariner and Chief Officer at Euronav since May 2010, demonstrating leadership and expertise in maritime operations. Prior to this, Martin gained valuable experience as a Deck Cadet at EVERGREEN LINE from November 2008 to November 2009, working on container ships in major ports across the U.S., Central America, and Asia. Martin's career began with a Student Assistant position at the Panama Canal from February 2005 to April 2007, participating in the operations division of tug boats and the port office. Martin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nautical Engineering, specializing in Navigation and Maritime Transportation, from Universidad Maritima Internacional de Panama.
