Vassilis Kourtis

Vassilis Kourtis is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile and web development, particularly in projects focused on healthcare and cultural heritage. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Euronet, Vassilis is involved in the development of alternative payment services based on digital wallets. Previously, Vassilis held roles at Vivante Health, where significant contributions included leading the architecture overhaul of the GIThrive® mobile application using React Native and Typescript. Vassilis has also engaged in research and development at the "Athena" Research and Innovation Center and the University of Athens, working on EU-funded initiatives. Vassilis's educational background includes a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a Master’s Degree in Digital Communication Media and Interactive Environments from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
