Majken Nørby Ekam-Nielsen

Majken Nørby Ekam-Nielsen currently serves as the People, Culture & Finance Director at EuropaBio, a position held since September 2019, and previously as Finance & HR Manager. Before that, Majken held the role of Office & Accounting Manager at the FIA Region I from February 2016 to September 2019, overseeing accounting, HR, and office management. Prior experience includes working as an Administrative Employee at the Danish Military Representation to NATO and as an Archivist at the Permanent Representation of Denmark to the EU. Earlier roles also encompass positions at the EastWest Institute and Common Market Fertilizers, focusing on office administration, events coordination, and accounting support. Majken holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Human Resources Management from Vesalius College as well as a Dutch language certificate and a Bachelor in Hotel Management, complemented by an European Baccalaureate.
