Herman Maatman

Herman Maatman currently serves as the Director of IT at EuroParcs, leading the IT Management Team and overseeing key areas such as IT Roadmap, Architecture, Security, Operations, and Development since May 2023. Maatman has successfully reorganized the IT team to improve efficiency and adopted Agile principles, among other significant achievements, including a 30% reduction in IT costs and enhanced IT security measures. Previously, Maatman held the position of Director of IT at Damen from January 2018 to April 2023, where responsibilities included steering IT strategy, managing a diverse team of approximately 100 employees, and driving Agile transitions. Earlier experience at PwC as a Senior Manager included project quality management and the development of innovative IT solutions. Maatman holds an MSc in Industrial Management & Engineering from the University of Twente and several postgraduate qualifications in IT auditing and business alignment.
