Guido Sabatini is a seasoned professional in standardisation and technical advocacy, currently serving as Senior Manager - Standards at European Aluminium since November 2018. In this role, Guido coordinates activities related to standardisation, CE-marking, fire safety, energy efficiency, and durability of aluminium products. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager at the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, where responsibilities involved elevating SABINA technologies into standards, and as Standardisation Technical Officer at the European Builders Confederation EBC, where Guido managed the activities of experts in construction-related standardisation. Additional roles include a Blue Book Trainee position at the European Commission and internships at the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs and UNFCCC, focusing on disaster risk management and sustainable development mechanisms. Guido holds a Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering from Lund University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
