Jos Beelen is a Professor of Global Learning at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where research focuses on the implementation of internationalisation at home in study programmes. In addition to this role, Jos serves as Director of the Centre of Expertise for Global and Inclusive Learning and holds visiting professorships at Coventry University and the University of the Free State. Jos is an active Senior Trainer with the European Association for International Education, specializing in curriculum internationalisation, and has held various roles related to internationalisation, including Senior Policy Advisor and Head of the International Office at Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Internationalisation of Higher Education from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a Master's degree in Classical Archaeology from the University of Amsterdam.

We are a non-profit, member-led organisation serving individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions through a combination of training, conferences, research and knowledge acquisition and sharing. Our mission is to advance international higher education, create positive change and promote dynamic collaboration in Europe and beyond.
