Magdalena Kowalska

Magdalena Kowalska has extensive experience in equity investments, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Head of Regional Business Development in Equity at the EBRD since August 2009, Magdalena Kowalska has held various senior banking roles focused on equity investments in privately held enterprises across Poland, Egypt, and Ukraine. Prior to this, Magdalena Kowalska was a Fund Manager at SEAF, overseeing a private equity fund that invested in mid-sized companies in Bulgaria and Croatia from June 2001 to August 2009. Earlier roles include Investment Officer with the BALTIC SMALL EQUITY FUND in Latvia and Fund Manager and Investment Officer at other SEAF entities in Poland. Magdalena Kowalska holds a Master's degree from the University of Gdansk.
