Tamás Nagy

Tamás Nagy is a seasoned private equity professional currently serving as Co-Head of Private Equity at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since January 2018, focusing on direct equity investments in Central and South-eastern Europe, the Baltics, and the Caucasus. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as Managing Director at Advent International from 2003 to 2016, where responsibilities encompassed the entire investment life cycle across Central Eastern Europe. Tamás has held various non-executive director roles in notable companies such as KAI Group Bulgaria, EKO Holding, and ISIDA clinic, contributing to corporate governance and strategic development. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Kellogg-WHU and a Master of Business Administration from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, further complemented by brief study at Alliance Manchester Business School.
