Philipp Freise

Philipp Freise currently serves as Co-Head of European Private Equity at KKR & Co. Inc. since November 2019, contributing to various boards including Mediawan, Axel Springer SE, LEONINE Studios, and GfK since 2020 and 2019, respectively. With a background at KKR & Co. Inc. from 2001 to 2019 as a Partner in EMEA Private Equity and prior roles including Associate and Principal, Philipp also co-founded Venturepark AG in Berlin and worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in New York. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Texas McCombs School of Business.
