Jacopo Carmassi

Principal Financial Stability Expert at European Central Bank

Jacopo Carmassi started their work experience in 2004 as a Researcher at ABI - Italian Banking Association. Jacopo later worked as an Economist at Assonime from 2008 to 2014, where they focused on research related to the 2007-2010 financial crisis and worked on various topics such as monetary policy and bank crisis management. In 2013, they were a Visiting Scholar at Wharton Financial Institutions Center at The Wharton School. In 2014, they became a Research Fellow at LUISS Guido Carli University. Finally, in 2015, they joined the European Central Bank as a Principal Financial Stability Expert.
