Jonathan Suk is a Senior Expert in Public Health Emergency Preparedness at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), a role held since October 2007, with a focus on identifying and communicating emerging health threats posed by infectious diseases. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at the ESRC Genomics Policy Forum, where efforts involved linking social and scientific communities in genomic research, and as a Business Development Manager at Crucell, which specializes in biopharmaceutical innovations. Jonathan Suk holds a PhD in Science & Technology Studies from The University of Edinburgh and has completed a short course in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, in addition to holding a Master’s degree in Science and Technology Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology & Immunology from McGill University.
