Karen Aimard has extensive experience in communication and knowledge management within the public health sector, currently serving as a Group Leader at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) since April 2010. In this role, Karen leads the Information and Knowledge Management Section as well as the Communication Section, focusing on editing, design, and digital communication. Prior to joining ECDC, Karen worked as a Communications Officer and Communications Assistant at the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME), providing communication support for the Enterprise Europe Network. Karen holds a Master's degree in European Law from Europa Institut, Saarland University, a Diploma in European Studies from Sciences Po Strasbourg, and a Bachelor's degree in Languages for business and communication from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III.
