Rodrigo Filipe is an experienced professional with a background in instructional design and e-learning, currently serving as an Expert in Instructional Design at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) since 2009. Within the Training Network Strengthening group, Rodrigo supports training activities aimed at enhancing the public health workforce in the EU. Previously, Rodrigo held positions as a Database Analyst and Database Developer at ECDC, where responsibilities included business analysis and IT project advisory. Earlier experience includes serving as a Navy Officer in the Portuguese Navy, focusing on communication systems and IT education, and working as an Informatic Consultant for PDM&FC in telecommunications projects. Rodrigo holds a Micro Masters in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus, a Master’s Degree in Education and Digital Technologies from Instituto de Educação, Universidade de Lisboa, and an Engineer's Degree in Computer and Software Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
