Lydia Gibson is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Director and Programme Manager for Clean Energy & Finance at the European Climate Foundation since December 2020. Prior to this role, Lydia worked as a consultant for BLOKX and was self-employed, in addition to serving as a Knowledge & Learning Manager for the National Lottery Community Fund's Climate Action Fund. Previous experience includes consulting for the SED Fund and the European Climate Foundation, managing environmental portfolios for the Graeme Wood Foundation, engaging youth through experiential learning at Wild Mob, and coordinating marine conservation strategies as Marine Policy Manager at WWF-Australia. Lydia's career began with a role as Campaigns Assistant at IFAW, focusing on marine conservation efforts. Lydia holds an MSc in Marine Mammal Science from Bangor University, obtained between 1999 and 2005.
