Alberto Pena Fernández has extensive experience in the European Commission, serving since June 1994 in various significant roles, including Jefe de unidad del centro de transparencia algorítmica and Deputy Director and Head of Unit for the Taxation and Customs Union Directorate-General, focusing on IT infrastructure and digital operations supporting customs and fiscal policies.
