Christoph Gerlinger

Christoph Gerlinger serves as a Senior Director and Expert Statistician in Health Technology Assessment and Women's Health at Bayer, a role held since 2007, as well as Senior Director, Therapeutic Area Expert Statistician. In addition, Christoph holds a professorship and the title of Privatdozent at Universität des Saarlandes since December 2015. As an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission, Christoph contributes to the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe research programmes and serves as a member of an expert group at Eurostat focusing on the use of new data sources for official statistics. Previous experience includes positions as Senior Statistician to Director Statistics at Schering AG and Senior Statistician at Laboratoires Fournier, with an early career as a wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Technische Universität Berlin. Academic qualifications encompass a Habilitation from Universität des Saarlandes, a Dr. P.H. in public health from Technische Universität Berlin, and a Dipl. Math in mathematics from University of Stuttgart.
