Federico Paoli

Federico Paoli is an experienced professional with a robust background in health systems, policy coordination, and international development. Since May 2009, Federico has served as the head of sector at the European Commission's DG REFORM, focusing on technical support for EU countries and overseeing Italy's national plan for recovery and resilience. Previous roles include policy coordinator for health systems at both DG REFORM and DG SANTE, where Federico managed projects supporting health reforms and established strategic partnerships with international organizations. Early career experience includes desk officer and project management roles in various NGOs, coordinating international development projects across multiple countries. Federico holds a MSc in Economics from Università Bocconi and two master's degrees in Cooperation and Development from Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori, Pavia.
