Javier Aycart Lazo

Javier AYCART LAZO is an experienced energy policy analyst and modeller, currently working at the European Commission since May 2021, with a focus on energy, transport, and climate initiatives at the Joint Research Centre. Previously, AYCART LAZO served as a Business Developer at the European Energy Exchange AG from July 2019 to May 2021, where strategic analyses on energy markets and project developments in energy finance were conducted. Prior roles include Electricity Market Engineer at Compagnie Nationale du Rhône, trainee at the European Commission, engineer at Gas Natural Fenosa, and I.T. consultant at Accenture. AYCART LAZO holds a Master’s degree in International Energy from Sciences Po and engineering degrees from Centrale Lyon and Universidad de Sevilla.
