Goetz Dittrich began their work experience in 1999 as a System Developer at Dresdner Bank Lateinamerika. Goetz then worked as a Senior Software Developer at NSE Software AG from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, they became the Head of Department "Actuary Methods" at Gothaer. In 2006, they joined Essent as a Managing Director, and in the same year, they became the Managing Director at Dong Energy. In 2008, they also became the Managing Director at Dong Energy Financial Solutions GmbH. In 2013, Dittrich joined European Commodity Clearing AG, first as the Head of Clearing Strategy, then as the Head of Clearing & Settlement, and currently as the Chief Operating Officer.

Goetz Dittrich completed their education at Leipzig University from 1989 to 1999. Goetz earned a Doctor degree in Physik during this time. Additionally, they have obtained certification as an EEX EPEX certified trader from EEX.
