Benjamin Plassard

Benjamin Plassard currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel at European Energy Exchange AG, focusing on energy law, financial markets, regulatory, IT law-data, and commercial law since January 2021. Prior to this role, Benjamin worked at Total as Legal Counsel in various capacities, managing international dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance from May 2019 to January 2021, and specializing in major litigation and climate change legal matters in 2018. Earlier internships in international arbitration and dispute resolution were completed at firms including the International Arbitration Chamber of Paris and Simmons & Simmons. Benjamin holds an LLM in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London and several other qualifications in international arbitration and law from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.
