European Environment Agency
Henrik Larsen is a Systems Analyst for the Sustainability Transitions programme at the European Environment Agency since July 2020 and also serves as a Visiting Researcher for Integrated Assessments for Sustainability at UCL until December 2023. Previously, Larsen worked as a Researcher at the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources, and the Department of Organization at Copenhagen Business School. Prior experience includes a role as a Consular Officer at the Embassy of Denmark in the United Kingdom with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Academically, Larsen holds a PhD in innovation and sustainability transition studies from Imperial College London and a Master of Science in business and development studies from Copenhagen Business School. Additional educational experiences include studies at FGV, DTU, City University of Hong Kong, and Tecnológico de Monterrey.

The European Environment Agency (EEA) is an agency of the European Union. Our task is to provide sound, independent information on the environment. We are a major information source for those involved in developing, adopting, implementing and evaluating environmental policy, and also the general public. Currently, the EEA has 33 member countries. Mission statement: "The EEA aims to support sustainable development and to help achieve significant and measurable improvement in Europe's environment, through the provision of timely, targeted, relevant and reliable information to policy-making agents and the public."
