Tobias Dan Nielsen is an experienced professional in environmental policy and research, currently serving as an Expert at the European Environment Agency since December 2021. Previously, Nielsen held the position of Project Manager and Analyst at IVL from June 2019 to December 2021 and was a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate at Lund University between March 2011 and June 2019. We are a major information source for those involved in developing, adopting, implementing and evaluating environmental policy, and also the general public. Currently, the EEA has 33 member countries. Mission statement: "The EEA aims to support sustainable development and to help achieve significant and measurable improvement in Europe's environment, through the provision of timely, targeted, relevant and reliable information to policy-making agents and the public."
