Katie Carnes

Katie Carnes is an experienced professional in biopharmaceutical analytical sciences, currently serving as the PS80 Analytical Methods for Biopharmaceuticals Subteam Leader at EFPIA since February 2023. At GSK, from September 2016 to present, Katie has worked as both a Scientific Investigator and Senior Scientist, focusing on the development and qualification of HPLC methods to monitor formulation integrity and impurities in various drug products. Previous roles include R&D Analytical Scientist at Novartis and a range of positions in quality control and formulations at companies such as Pfizer and GSK Consumer Healthcare. Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Fort Hays State University and has developed numerous innovative methods in biopharmaceuticals throughout a diverse career in the pharmaceutical industry.
