George S. Bebetsos

George S. Bebetsos is an experienced sport management professional with extensive expertise in officiating coordination, event management, and sports consulting. Currently serving as the Officiating Unit Coordinator at the European Handball Federation since 2008, Bebetsos oversees officiating activities, educational programs, and referee evaluations. With a history of managing prestigious events like the EHF European Championships and the Men's EHF EURO 2020, as well as consulting for various sports organizations through GB Sport Consulting, Bebetsos has demonstrated a profound commitment to enhancing the sports landscape. Additionally, contributions as an International Faculty member at the United States Sports Academy and previous roles in the Hellenic Handball Federation showcase a rich background in education and organizational leadership in sports. A graduate of renowned institutions with a Master of Science in Sport Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Bebetsos is also a PhD candidate in Sports Management.
