Marco Giorgini

Marco Giorgini has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marco currently works at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) as the Head of Sector Tech to Market Activities, where they lead a team of Project Officers in selecting and monitoring the implementation of EIC Transition projects. Marco also served as a Tech to Market Advisor at the same agency. Prior to this, they worked at the European Research Executive Agency (REA) as a Project Officer from 2015 to 2021. Before that, they were an Innovation and Technology Transfer Officer at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission from 2011 to 2015. Moreover, Marco has experience as an Executive and Owner at Compelligence Consulting from 2004 to 2011, where they provided business and innovation support to startups, financial controlling for SMEs, and corporate education delivery. Marco was also a Project Manager at Capgemini from 2000 to 2003, primarily managing IT services and software application management projects. Additionally, Marco worked as a Finance Officer at Foggini Key Plastics in 1997, where they designed and implemented procedures and tools for analyzing manufacturing costs.
