Alessandro Apa

Alessandro Apa possesses extensive experience in financial management and auditing, currently serving as the Head of Unit in the Group Corporate Services Directorate at the European Investment Bank (EIB) since November 2009. Previous roles at EIB include Senior Fund & Structuring Officer in the Directorate for Lending Operations and Head of Unit in the Financial Control Directorate. Prior to EIB, Alessandro worked at PwC from October 2002 to November 2009, advancing from Senior Auditor to Audit Manager. Alessandro's career began in the Marina Militare as an Officer from March 2001 to May 2002. Educational qualifications include a degree in Economics with honors from Sapienza Università di Roma, completing the Corso per Allievi Ufficiali at Accademia Navale, and attendance at IPAG Business School, complemented by foundational education at Liceo Classico “Diodato Borrelli.”
