Daniela Wortmann

Daniela Wortmann is a seasoned professional in procurement and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Procurement at the European Investment Bank (EIB) since August 2018, with previous leadership roles in budget and procurement within EIB's Risk and Compliance division. Daniela has been with EIB since 2002, progressing from a budget officer and information desk officer to team leader for corporate procurement compliance before assuming the current position. Prior experience includes a trainee position at Arthur Anderson S.A. and a client service associate role at Deka Investment. Daniela's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration in International Finance and Marketing from Universität Trier and an International Master of Public Procurement from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.
