Fernando Torija is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and financial services. Currently serving as the Head of the European Investment Bank Group Office in Spain since June 2002, Fernando has held several key positions within the European Investment Bank, including Head of Division for Spain's Private Sector, Mercosur Principal, and Head of Unit for Risk Management in Infrastructure and Public Sector. Prior to the European Investment Bank, Fernando worked at Deutsche Bank as an Industry Risk Manager for Natural Resources and served as a Credit Risk Manager at Citibank. Fernando holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from The Wharton School, a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., and a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Deusto.
