Jesper Persson

Jesper Persson is a highly experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Equity at the European Investment Bank since January 2008, where responsibilities include overseeing operations outside of Europe. Prior to this role, Jesper served as a Senior Investment Officer for Private Equity focusing on Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Previous positions include Structured Finance Manager at the European Investment Fund from August 2003 to December 2007, Associate in Investment Banking at CIBC World Markets in London from February 2001 to January 2003, and Structured Finance Analyst at Fitch Ratings from January 1999 to February 2001. Jesper holds a BSc in Economics & Finance from Lund University and the University of Exeter, and has furthered education at London Business School.
