Olivier Besson

Olivier Besson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate credit risk and infrastructure finance, currently serving as Principal Advisor and Senior Head of Infrastructure, Energy & Telecom at the European Investment Bank since August 2014. Besson specializes in managing risk for international financing of long-term infrastructure, particularly in the Energy and Utilities sectors, with expertise spanning Western Europe, the Baltic countries, Eastern Europe, and North Africa. Previous roles include Associate Director in Leveraged and Project Finance at the Royal Bank of Scotland and various positions in leveraged finance and credit analysis at Banco Espirito Santo, RBS, Calyon, HSBC, and KPMG.
