Peter Anderson

Peter Anderson currently serves as a Senior Climate Change Specialist at the European Investment Bank, where responsibilities include providing technical expertise in EU taxonomy, climate mitigation, Paris alignment, and carbon footprinting. With a strong background in sustainable finance initiatives, Peter has held leadership roles in various working groups, including the Joint MDB Climate Mitigation Working Group and the EU Technical Expert Group on Sustainable Finance. Previous experience includes positions as Global CCS Manager and Global Project Manager for Carbon Services at SGS, focusing on carbon capture and storage and managing significant projects in greenhouse gas verification. Earlier in the career, Peter was a Senior Consultant at Ceres Logistics Ltd, where consultancy projects centered on supply chain and environmental issues. Peter holds a Master of Science in Environmental Impact Assessment from the University of East Anglia and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
