Shirin Wheeler

Shirin Wheeler is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in international media and political communication. Currently serving as Principal Advisor for International Communications at the European Investment Bank, Shirin has held various roles including Head of the Video and Social Media Unit and Principal Advisor for International Media. Prior experience includes positions as a Political Communication Strategist and Spokesperson for EU Regional Policy at the European Commission. Shirin has also worked as a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics and as a Europe Correspondent for BBC News. In addition, Shirin has moderated policy and public events as a freelancer. Shirin holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford and attended Bedales School in Hampshire, UK.
