Kamil Pruchnik

Kamil Pruchnik, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Regional Representative for Poland at the European Investment Fund (EIF), where the primary mission involves supporting financing for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). With prior experience as a Senior Transaction Officer in the EIF's Equity, Investment, and Guarantees Department, Kamil led commitments across 15 countries, facilitating significant financing for startups and SMEs. Previous roles include Assistant Vice President at HSBC, where responsibilities spanned corporate banking and strategic initiatives, as well as positions at the Narodowy Bank Polski and various international organizations including the United Nations and the World Bank. Kamil holds a PhD in Economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and has engaged in advanced studies at esteemed institutions such as Harvard and Georgetown University.
