Torben Bager

Torben Bager currently serves as the CEO and CIO of European Maritime Finance, a corporate finance company focused on investments in the shipping industry, and also acts as an Investment Advisor. Bager is a member of the Board of Advisors at Hafnia Energy, contributing expertise in renewable energy development. Previously, Bager held the position of Interim CFO at Navig8 Chemical Tankers and served as Executive Vice President of Finance & Accounting at Hafnia Management A/S, where significant contributions were made to the company's growth and financial structuring. Bager’s extensive career at Torm spanned various roles including Senior Vice President Finance and Head of Treasury, marked by significant achievements such as managing substantial bond portfolios and receiving the Deal of The Year award. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Management Programme from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in Economics from Copenhagen Business School.
