Janka Taborecka-Petrovicova serves as the Director of the Marketing Research Centre at the European Marketing and Management Association since 2021, where involvement includes the role of honorary board vice-president and membership in the Scientific Committee. In academia, Janka has been an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Corporate Economics and Management at Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici since 2005, overseeing various study programs at the BSc, MSc, and PhD levels, and participating in the Faculty Scientific Council and Doctoral Studies Committee. Prior to this, Janka held teaching positions in marketing and strategic management at different institutions, including a lectureship at the Sales Manager Akademie MBA and an MBA role with Nottingham Trent University. Janka holds a Ph.D. and an MSc from Matej Bel University, specializing in Business Economics and Management and Marketing Management, respectively.
