Finbarr Leacy

Finbarr Leacy is a highly experienced biostatistician currently serving as a Senior Biostatistician and Senior Statistical Assessor at the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) since June 2018. In addition, Finbarr holds multiple roles at the European Medicines Agency, including Irish Alternate Member of the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) and Expert in the Methodology European Specialised Expert Community (ESEC). Previously, Finbarr was a StAR Research Lecturer in Biostatistics at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland from April 2016 to May 2018. Finbarr Leacy's educational background includes a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Cambridge, a ScM in Biostatistics, and a Certificate in Public Mental Health Research from The Johns Hopkins University, along with a BSc (Hons) in Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Science from University College Cork.
