Niki Matskou

Niki Matskou currently serves as a Medicine Shortages Trainee at the European Medicines Agency since October 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Scientific Programs Coordinator at DIA from March 2022 to September 2024, and an internship in the Scientific Programmes Department. Niki has also completed a Hospital Pharmacy Internship at the Special Hospital of Venereal & Skin Diseases, and served as Vice President of Public Affairs for IAESTE Thessaloniki, overseeing team coordination, social media management, content creation, and event organization. A research internship at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna involved using the Wound Healing Assay to investigate the effects of specific ligands on cell migration. Niki is pursuing a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, expected to graduate in 2024, and has acquired various technical skills including Western Blot, Elisa, RT-PCR, and Wound Healing Assay.
